Op zoek naar Maria - Dans in het Centraal Station van Antwerpen

On Monday morning, March 23, a surprised commuting audience found themselves in the midst of a revival of The Sound of Music at the Centraal Station Antwerpen. The recording of Julie Andrews singing the song, "Do Re Mi" began and suddenly over 200 dancers located throught the audience started an energetic dance that was so compelling the audience itself began to dance.

This was a promotion for the talent competition (Looking for Maria) that aired in Belgium on Vtm. It premiered on March 25, 2009.

The goal of the series was to find a musical theatre performer to play the role of Maria von Trapp in the 2009 Albert Verlinde and Roel Vente revival of "The Sound of Music" at the Efteling Theatre.
